Hello, everyone! I'm Angela Xiang, a rising 10th-grade student at Montgomery Blair High School in Montgomery County, Maryland. Since the age of 5, I have been playing the piano and am dedicated to improving my musical expression and technique. Performing at the Brookdale Senior Center has been one of the highlights of my musical journey and I have seen how music acts as a bridge between generations. The senior residents' genuine appreciation, curious questions, and shared stories have shown how music brings joy and comfort into peoples' lives. Generations in Tune's live concerts are a way to bring live performances to seniors who wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to experience them and I greatly enjoy hosting our weekly performances. I'm excited to continue exploring initiatives with Generations in Tune to foster intergenerational connections and to share my love for music!
