Our Mission: Generations in Tune

Connecting generations through music Generations in Tune is committed to creating meaningful connections between seniors and young musicians. Through our various initiatives, we aim to bridge the generation gap and foster intergenerational bonds. Our mission is to bring joy and shared experiences to both seniors and young musicians in the community. One of the ways Generations in Tune achieves this is through hosting senior center concerts. These concerts provide an opportunity for seniors to enjoy live music performances by our volunteer student musicians. Generations in Tune was founded in 2022 to bring live performances to seniors who otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to experience them. These concerts not only entertain but also create a sense of community and belonging. Generations in Tune also provides virtual concerts and recordings on our website, allowing seniors to enjoy music in the comfort of their own homes. This accessibility ensures that seniors can continue to experience the joy and connection that music brings, even when they are unable to attend live concerts.
